The MKV file is a video file most often associated with hi-def video. The MKV is usually from a Blu-ray or HDDVD movie disc. Sometimes during the creation, compression or moving of the MKV, the file can become corrupted. If this occurs, the MKV file needs repair. Meteorite GUI is the official MKV repair tool and it will allow you to take your broken MKV files and play them once again.
