How to Create Scrolling Script in PowerPoint

Updated March 23, 2017

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 allows you to add animations to your presentation. This can apply to pictures or text. One such animation is a scrolling text animation. This allows you to have your text enter the screen and then scroll through the entire text until you reach the end of the text. This is a useful tool for items such as credits. It also adds another layer to your presentation and shows your ability to use PowerPoint.

Click on the slide containing the text you want to scroll.

Click the "Animation" tab near the top the screen.

Click "More."

Click "Credits." Your text will now scroll through when you display your presentation.
