Insert the Windows XP CD into your CD/DVD drive, then restart your computer. The Windows XP CD will now boot with the PC.
Press "Enter" on the "Windows Setup" menu.
Press the "F8" key when the "Windows Licensing Agreement" menu is displayed on your monitor.
Press the "R" key when the "Windows Repair" menu is displayed on your monitor. Windows recovery will now reload your system files.
Restart the computer after the reinstallation process has completed.
