Updated April 17, 2017

Adding an "echo" effect to your microphone can offer an interesting touch of personalisation to your online communications or sound recordings, enabling you to control your voice to create the desired outcome. Accomplish this with the use of Echo freeware, a program enabling you to add basic or complex echoing effects to your computer microphone.

Click the page link in Resources.

Select "Download" and click "Save." Save the file to your desktop.

Double-click the "Echo.exe" downloaded file. Select "Run."

Select your desired options for the program, such as how often you wish it to check the Internet for updates.

Click "Start" to begin generating an echo effect.
