  1. 1

Place one foot on a piece of felt and draw an oval around the foot using a piece of chalk.

  2. 2

Cut out the oval, adding 1/2 inch all around for seam allowances. This will form the sole of the slipper.

  3. 3

Cut out a half-oval of felt that is six inches long and the same width as the sole of the slipper. This will form the upper part of the slipper.

  4. 4

Place the half-oval of felt on top of the sole of the slipper, matching the curved edge of the half oval with the front curved edge of the sole of the slipper.

  5. 5

Sew the top slipper piece to the sole by sewing all around the curved edge. Leave the straight edge open and turn the slipper right side out.

  6. 6

Cover the bottom of the slipper with dots of puffy paint, spaced about 1/2 inch apart. This will create traction for the soles of the slippers.

  7. 7

Repeat the entire process with the other foot.
