Watches with tide tables are used all over the world by sailors, surfers and others to monitor the change in tides. Tides change approximately every six hours based on the position of the moon relative to the Earth's orbit. Tide watches display the amount of time remaining until the next high or low tide to the user. No matter what you use your tide watch for, it is important to know how to set it accurately.
