Trips to the post office can tax your budget and patience. Driving there burns gas, and a long line often awaits you inside. Fortunately, the U.S. Postal Service has a website for all of your postage needs. That website, named the Postal Store, allows you to buy mail stamps in bulk, which can save you gas, time and money. All it takes is a few mouse clicks.

Log on to the Postal Store website: shop.usps.com.
Click on the "Stamps" menu, which is located near the centre of the page.
Select the type of stamp. As of January 2010, the U.S. Postal Service offers first class stamps, 42-cent stamps, 1-cent stamps, price change stamps as well as Priority and Express Mail stamps.
Select the design of your stamp, and click on the yellow "Buy" button. The U.S. Postal Service offers a variety of designs, including U.S. flags and Edgar Allen Poe.
Enter the quantity of your stamps, and click on the white "Checkout" button. Stamps are generally sold in panes, which holds 20 stamps.
Create a new account with the Postal Store or enter your existing user name and password.
Enter your credit or debit card information and place your order.
