    Installing RealOne

    Determine what type of RealPlayer you need for your computer. For computers that run with Windows 98 and above, MacOs X, Solaris 2.6/2.7-Linux 2.0 and Irix 6.2/6.3, you will want to download RealOne. For any earlier Windows versions and most Macintosh operating systems, you will need to download RealPlayer 8.

    Access http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/help/faq/download_and_install_realplayer.shtml to download RealOne for your computer. Read all appropriate information regarding RealPlayer, then click on the link that reads "Download and install RealPlayer at BBC Webwise." Remember that the older operating systems will need to download a different version; see the next section to download RealPlayer 8.

    Fill in the necessary fields in the registration form. Select one of the three options that RealPlayer gives you for installation; any of these three will work for BBC Radio 2.

    Select the button that reads "Download Free RealPlayer Basic Now." Select the download location geographically closest to you. Click to start the download.

    Find the file on your computer and open it to install the program onto your computer. When installation is complete, you can access BBC Radio 2.
