How to Remove the Windshield Wipers on a Range Rover

Updated March 23, 2017

The windshield wipers on a Range Rover are a vital safety component. The rubber blades on the wiper need to be checked every six months for wear or deterioration. Ideally, you should replace them every six months; however, you may be able to get away with replacing them once a year. For new wiper blades, you'll need to take the old wiper blade into an auto parts store and compare sizes for the correct size blade. All replacement wiper blades have a universal mount that will fit every vehicle, including the Range Rover.

Pull the wiper blade arm away from the windshield until the wiper arm locks into a vertical position.

Pivot the wiper blade so that it sits perpendicular to the wiper arm.

Push down on the release tab that locks the wiper blade to the wiper arm.

Pull the wiper blade away from the wiper arm.

For specific information about your model of Range Rover and for specific wiper blade removal for that model, consult the particular vehicle's manual (see Resources).
