  • 0.454kg. cod fillets
  • 2 qts. milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 0.227kg. potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 3 cups water
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground white pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp ground bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Frying pan
  • Spatula

Instructions

    Soak the cod fillets overnight in a bowl of milk, refrigerated.

    Boil the fillets in the milk for three minutes to soften. Allow to cool.

    Crumble the cod into a mixing bowl and add all other ingredients except the breadcrumbs and frying oil.
