BlackBerry has been producing mainstream smartphones for many years. Skype has been a popular way for people all over the world to stay connected for years as well. Unfortunately, there is only one program for BlackBerry that will access Skype. Since May of 2009, BlackBerry users have been told that they would be receiving a Skype Lite client from Skype, but now at the end of December 2009 there is still no word on beta testing. Thankfully one program, iSkoot, works well and gets the job done.
