Updated February 21, 2017

Digital artists can go on a never ending journey with their artwork. They can create pieces original artwork, save these pieces, and then tweak the artwork and create completely different images. The following tips will help you learn how to create a blue spiral using Photoshop.

Open an abstract image and go to ""Hue/Saturation" found in adjustments under the image drop-down menu.

Click "Colorize" and then slide the hue and saturation sliders around until you find a color you like. You can also go to "Images," "Adjustments" and "Invert Colors."

Go to "Twirl," found under distort in the filters drop-down menu. Twirl the colors however you would like.

Tip

Duplicate your layer, change the hue of the twirl, run twirl again in a different direction, and change blending modes on the layer for different effects.
