When getting a half sleeve tattoo, there will probably be more than one session at the tattoo parlour. These sessions will require time between the seatings in order for the half sleeve to heal. In order to get that half sleeve finished quickly, you will want to utilise the best healing techniques and ensure a total turnaround time between sessions of only one week.

Things you need
- Antibiotic Cream
- Hypoallergenic Cream
- Antibacterial Soap
Begin the healing. From the moment you receive that first sitting of tattoos, you will be in a constant healing process for the duration of the tattoo and for a few weeks beyond. You will want to apply a small amount of antibiotic cream to the tattoo twice a day between sessions.
Heal from within. One of the most important things to remember when trying to heal a half sleeve tattoo is the necessity of eating healthy foods and drinking plenty of water. Increasing your water intake can decrease healing time overall.
Moisturise often. You will not want any of the tattoo to scab up during the healing process. Applying a heavy, hypoallergenic cream to the tattoo four or five times a day will keep the skin moist. Great choices are Cetaphil or Aquaphor.
Keep the sun away. A tattoo can be faded and dried quickly by the sun's rays, If you want to heal quickly between sessions, make sure to cover the tattooed skin with a sunscreen lotion before going out to show off your new work.
Wash once a day. You will want to make sure to keep the skin clean and free from bacteria during the healing process. This means washing the tattoo down once a day with an antibacterial hand soap such as Dial.
