Instructions

  1. 1

Squeeze enough lemons to get 60 ml (¼ cup) of fresh lemon juice. Add six drops of vanilla extract to the cup of lemon juice and stir until both ingredients mix thoroughly.

  2. 2

Add 240 ml (1 cup) of water to a saucepan. Add the lemon juice and vanilla extract mixture to the saucepan.

  3. 3

Heat the solution on the stove on a high setting. Cover the saucepan with a lid when it reaches a boil and let it boil for 2 minutes.

  4. 4

Place the saucepan in the refrigerator. Leave the saucepan and the solution in the refrigerator to cool for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

Remove the saucepan from the refrigerator. Boil the vanilla and lemon juice solution again by following step 3.

  6. 6

Transfer the mixture to a clean glass container after it's finished its second 2-minute boiling. Refrigerate the solution for at least 1 hour.

  7. 7

Pour the vanilla extract and lemon juice perfume into a new perfume bottle.
