Decorate for Easter in a snap with simple homemade decorations. Put each project together in 15 minutes or less, which can be a lifesaver if time is running short before company arrives.

Egg Cup Vases

Create simple table decorations by using egg cups as miniature vases. Fill each egg cup with jelly beans or other Easter candies and place a daisy in each egg cup. Because the flowers do not have water in the egg cups, put this decoration together in an hour or less before it will be used.

Hatched Chicks

Thoroughly rinse out and save eggshell halves to put together in a simple Easter decoration. Fill a wide basket with real or imitation grass and nestle the eggs in it. Place a yellow marshmallow chick candy in each egg so they look like newly hatched chicks.

Balloon Animals

Create balloon animal decorations out of regular, round balloons. Make a chick by inflating a yellow balloon, cutting a beak and legs out of orange tissue paper and taping the features onto the balloon. Make rabbits out of pink or blue balloons with tissue paper ears and two front teeth made of white tissue paper. Draw additional features with permanent marker.
