Soak up as much of the hair dye as possible using absorbent towels that you don't mind ruining or at least permanently staining.

Wet a cleaning sponge in warm water and scrub the stain in circular motions. You may need to rinse the sponge out if it becomes saturated with hair dye colour. Repeat.

Spray glass cleaner on the hair dye stain and wipe using a clean cloth. Check the glass cleaner bottle to make sure it can be used on the specific appliance on which the hair dye was spilt.

Use antibacterial cleaning spray on the hair dye stain. Let sit for 20 to 30 minutes and then wipe using a clean cloth or cleaning sponge.

Apply a small amount of stainless steel cleaner to a clean cloth and wipe in the direction of the grain if the stain has occurred on a stainless steel appliance. Do not use harsh sponges or scrub against the grain of the metal, as this may scratch the appliance.

WARNING

Do not mix cleaning products as this can create harmful vapours. Rinse any surface thoroughly before trying an additional method.
