There are also fruits and vegetables that are dangerous to dogs causing health problems and even death. There are a variety of fruits dogs are allowed to eat that bring them health benefits and are a tasty treat for them to enjoy. Dogs are permitted to eat banana. Dogs can also enjoy different types of berries including strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Pumpkin and yams are good for a dog's digestive system. Oranges are allowed to become a part of a dog's diet in moderation. Dogs can also enjoy apples as long as the seeds have been removed from the apple to prevent choking or digestive problems. Green beans serve as a delicious treat for dogs, a healthier alternative to high-calorie treats. Make certain that your dog receives these vegetables in moderation. Even something healthy can turn unhealthy if given excessively.

Bad Vegetables For Dogs

There are certain vegetables that a dog should not be given. Avocado should not be given to dogs as it contains persin which is toxic to dogs. Onions are another vegetable that dogs cannot eat because it can destroy a dog's red blood cells and cause poisoning. Make certain a dog is never given these dangerous vegetables.
