Kids Puzzle Activities for 2 Corinthians & Paul

Having kids create or complete puzzles can be a fun way to teach Bible stories and lessons. The Bible book of 2 Corinthians is one of the 13 letters attributed to the Apostle Paul, and its accounts can be taught and reinforced with the use of several different types of puzzles. You can use premade puzzles or create your own to help kids learn about Paul and this book in the Bible.

Jigsaw Puzzle

Make a jigsaw puzzle that portrays a scene from 2 Corinthians. Have kids draw and colour their chosen scene onto a piece of cardboard. Use a utility knife to cut the cardboard picture into irregular pieces. It's a good idea to draw the shapes first and then cut them. Have kids put their puzzles together to make sure the pieces fit.

Crossword Puzzle

Obtain or create a crossword puzzle using information that pertains to 2 Corinthians and the Apostle Paul as clues to help kids solve the puzzle. For example one of the clues could be "Who is known as the writer of 2 Corinthians" (answer: Paul). Use a word processing program or online crossword puzzle creator if you are making the puzzle yourself. Refer to Bible crossword puzzle publications from bookstores and websites to get premade puzzles.

Word Search

Obtain or create a word search with a search list that has words related to Paul and 2 Corinthians. The list should include words such as Troas, Israel, Corinth or Apostle Paul. You can use a word processing program capable of word search creation, an online word search creator or premade word searches from a book or worksheet.

Sudoku Puzzle

Have kids solve a sudoku puzzle with Paul- and 2 Corinthians-related words. Sudoku puzzles can be created online at puzzle creator sites or obtained from sudoku puzzle publications.
