Silicon wristbands are inexpensive and easy to find, making them popular as promotional products at events, fundraisers, sports events and nearly anything else you can think of. Many people like to wear the wristbands simply as a fashion accessory and want to remove the printed lettering to have a plain wristband with no logo or writing. To remove the writing, use something that dissolves the ink without damaging the silicon.
Saturate a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, either dipping the cotton swab into the bottle of alcohol or filling the cap of the bottle with alcohol and then dipping the cotton swab into the lid.
Rub the wet cotton swab over the printed lettering, rubbing in small circles. Continue until you remove all the letters.
Rub over the band one more time with a clean cotton swab dipped in the alcohol to remove any leftover ink residue.
Rinse the wristband under tap water to wash off any excess alcohol and allow the wristband to air dry.
