You are probably well acquainted with Facebook and its multiple uses. There was a time when the pool of Facebook users was very limited and unique, but now that the social-networking site has grown, it is more difficult to make yourself stand out. 1. Sign into your Facebook account. Click the "Account" drop-down menu in the upper right corner. Click "Account Settings."

  2. Click the "Change" link to the right of "Name." Highlight and delete the existing information in the form.

  3. Type your first and last name -- all in lower case letters -- back into the boxes; your name will appear exactly as you type it. Click the "Save Changes" button.

  4. Read through the guidelines on the new page. Confirm that your name appears exactly as you want it. Click the "Confirm Change" button. It may take a few days for your name change to take effect.
