Silicone bakeware is simple to use because it does not require preparation or greasing -- the food bakes just as if it were in a regular pan, and it slides out of the silicone with ease. When you first work with silicone baking tools, you may be apprehensive because it is bendable, and you do not want to damage your fresh baked goods. Don't worry -- removing cupcakes from silicone cups may be easier for you than getting them out of a regular pan.
Remove the baking pans from the oven when the cupcakes are ready.
Push the bottom of a cup gently with your thumb to release the cupcake from the mould. Do this right away after baking, and the cupcake should pop up with ease.
Allow the cakes to cool for about 10 minutes before decorating.
