Hi, I'm Kristen Smith-Hilton, global fashion stylist and beauty expert; also the president and creative director of Novells Style Group, and this is how to tie a sarong as a long skirt. Taking the sarong, you're going to want to start from behind. It's the easiest in which to use. Wrapping the skirt around you, you have several options in which to turn it into a skirt. You can do Milana style, which would allow you to just crisscross and roll it down. You can do more of a crisscross that ties, wrapping it entirely around your waist, and securing it with a knot or a bow. Another way that you can do it is to take the sarong, wrap it from the front, and actually attach it in the back. This way you have just a fun, flirty cover up for those warm days ahead. This is Kristen Smith-Hilton, and that is how to tie a long sarong skirt.
