Hi, everyone. I'm Carol Ann, your fitness expert from Tampa, Florida, and I'm going to talk about how you can lose two pounds per week. Some materials that you'll need are cardio equipment, weight training equipment, and a healthy diet. First of all, what you want to do is you want to look at how are you going to lose weight. The basic formula is you want to burn more calories then you are taking in. So, how do you burn off those extra calories? Well, if you can go on a simple walk, and make sure that you are burning about an extra 250 calories a day, that is one way you can do that. You can choose to get on an elliptical machine. You can go roller blading, you can swim. Any type of cardio activity be it that you are using equipment or not, you need to get your heart rate up anywhere between 20 to 60 minutes at a go. And you can burn anywhere between 250 to 500 calories a session. Next, what you'll want to do is you want to reduce the number of calories that you are taking in. So, you want to reduce the number of calories in your diet and look at what you are eating. So again, make sure that you are eating good fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins. And drink lots of water. So, if you can create a deficit of about 250 calories a day, and you are burning off 3500 calories that's one pound. So, multiply that out, in one week you need to create a deficit of 7000 calories in order for you to burn off two pounds a week.
