Hello, my name is Rody Carballo, and I'm a softball player for FloridaAdultSoftball.com. And in this clip, I'm going to show you how to throw a curve ball in softball. You will need a softball mitt. You will need a ball. One of the, one of the fundamentals or one of the best things that you can use for a curve ball is use the wind towards your advantage. If you can get a side wind, it will help you big time in moving the ball. And also, when you want to pitch the ball, well, you're going to put an extra spin on it. As so, when you release it, you want to throw a pitch when you release it, break your wrist in a sort of a way that a ball will come out curving. If you want to throw the opposite way, let's say you have a lefty hitter, what you're going to do is you're going to do the reverse when you release the ball. You're going to turn it, turn the pitch or release it the opposite way and what it'll do is it will create a movement on the ball that will tow away from your left handed hitter and I would demonstrate this to you in live. And that is how you throw a curve ball in softball. This is Rody Carballo, thank you for watching.
