Hi my name is Nathan McConnell. I'm a paramedic and EMS instructor in Brunswick County, North Carolina and today we're going to talk about fun ways to teach first aid and CPR. Equipment you'll need for this is the type of equipment that you need to teach first aid CPR, bandaging material, CPR face mask, things of that nature. Some of the fun ways to teach first aid and CPR is to get your audience involved with the class. This might be from having everyone who is in the class participate in bandaging scenarios, to participate in the CPR. When you're teaching first aid and CPR you want to get audience participation and that makes it fun for the audience and makes it fun for you as an instructor as well. Some other things that you want to do when you are teaching first aid and CPR is to tailor your class towards the audience. If you're teaching towards an industrial site you might want to make some scenarios up that involve some of the things that they do on a daily basis. If you are teaching the hospital staff you want to tailor your class to the things that they do on a daily basis as well. My name is Nathan McConnell and this has been some fun ways to teach CPR and first aid.
