"Hi my name is Tanya Batts and I'm a personal trainer with Gold's Gym. I want to talk to you today about how to do seated inner thigh exercises. So a great way to start, you can sit on a chair if you have got a ball, kind of rolling around the house, just grab it, have a seat, even sitting on the ball squeezing the abdominals you are working the core, the legs are getting in on the action too. But if I could, if you have got a smaller ball around even if you don't have a ball, if you have got a pillow on the couch just grab it, put it between the knees and just squeeze and it's not a very big muscle, that inner thigh, but so you just want to squeeze just enough, and you really are going to start to feel the burn. It doesn't take a whole lot of these before you start feeling it but it's a great way to tone up that muscle and it's a tough area to work and there are not too many exercises out there that can really work that muscle. So another one is, so let's just say you have got one ball. I am still seated but I'm standing a little and I'm squeezing these. This is great to do if maybe you are pregnant, don't really want, you are not supposed to be on your feet but you still want to work the inner thigh, just squeezing, that's getting it done. Alright, even better, on the floor you can lay all the way down on your side, I'm even going to grab a weight. You can lay all the way down on your side. You can have the foot like this or up like this, that's hard for me but I'll show you how to do it. I'm lifting and lowering that's working that inner thigh. I'm just going to put it down so you can see that inner thigh, weight if you want it, boom, boom. The only thing moving is the leg on the floor, the foot is flexed and parallel with the floor, exhale. If you point the toe, it doesn't work quite as well. I like the flexed foot and I like the thought if you are balancing that weight on that inner thigh man that's burning so those are just a few great ways you can work those inner thigh muscles. It doesn't take a whole lot. You can sit here and just squeeze the hands and it's getting it done. So those are just a few great exercises to work the inner thighs."
