Hi, my name is Dave Andrews, today I'm going to show you how to repair corrupted files. Sometimes, as you're using MicroSoft Windows, the operating system files get corrupted and causes strange errors and problems to pop up, we're going to run a system restore to fix that. Lets click down on the start button, go to All Programs, click on Accessories. Lets find System Tools and we want to choose System Restore, this brings up the system restore dialog. It is recommending a restore point that we could use that's actually going to be yesterday but you can also click on Choose a Different Restore Point. This lists out the restore points that are available on your PC within the past five days, you can also click on Show Restore Points Older Than Five Days and that shows older restore points. As you can see, there are date and times listed here and it shows you the action that created that restore point, such as installing a program or uninstalling a program, choose one that seems appropriate and hit Next. Now it's going to confirm that you want to restore, simply click Finish and it will begin the restore process. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to restore corrupted files.
