Hi, welcome, my name is Lars Erik Robinson, I'm a freelance illustrator with LarsEr Arts All Around Art-tainment. Today we're working - we're talking about how to use oils, and how to paint with them. What you have to do is you have a Liquin that if you want to have it dry quicker this helps. That you're drying medium, at the end of it you'll need to have a Demar varnish or any type of different varnishes that they have which you can apply six weeks when you're done with your painting. And we also have a mineral spirits, or a paint thinner that - I encourage the odorless paint thinner because it will kill your brain cells after a while using that stuff that smells. So here, I'm mixing a little white and a little brown together here to get a lighter brown. And as I'm doing it I'm applying a little bit of the Liquin that I have on the side over here to put in there, and once again the Liquin helps the drying part of it. I didn't do anything up here yet, so I want to put a little hair up here to make it look like he has a like a forehead. So, oils are great for glazing, and glazing means that you can go on top of what you already have there. And the Liquin helps encourage that. It helps that effect. Once again, dab the Liquin, about one fourth of that, to three fourths of the paint, mix it together, and apply a little bit of your thinner. And that's usually how I like to paint. A lot of people use very opaque paint if you want to do impressionism paints. If you want to do portraits you don't want to have it that much. There's different techniques, see the different brush strokes you can use. The more thinner you add the better it is, the more you can play with it. I hope that helped you guys explain a little bit more, there's a lot of different ways, just keep researching and keep playing around with it. My name is Lars Erik Robinson, enjoy.
