"You know, nicotine addiction can be one of the toughest addictions to break. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni, and what I'm going to talk about is how to quit smoking in five days. To start the process of quitting, plan accordingly the night before the first day begins. Get plenty of sleep and rise early, taking in a good healthy breakfast of fruits and vegetables and possibly grains. This will help rid the body of nicotine, along with drinking plenty of water. For the next five days, know that you will have a great deal of cravings. Try to change your lifestyle accordingly. Every time you feel the craving or the urge to smoke find something to do with your mind and your hands. This could include some form of rigid exercise, walking, taking in a drink of cool water, or something to get your mind off the craving and change your lifestyle and pattern. After five days, the cravings will begin to subside and become less frequent, and you'll be well on your way to kicking the nicotine habit. I'm Captain Joe Bruni. Stay safe, and we'll see ya' next time."
