Glass-cutting tools made by Dremel include a series of diamond bits that are impregnated with tiny bits of diamond dust, making for a very smooth cutting tool. Remember to lubricate the tool when cutting into glass with advice from a jewelry maker and gemologist in this free video on tools.
Something else the Dremel is really good for is taking sharp edges off of glass. So if you either want to grind on some glass, drill a hole in it or just smooth it out, you need to use, with the Dremel, they make a series of diamond bits. And you'll see that these diamond bits, they are steel that are impregnated with little tiny bits of diamond dust and it makes a very smooth cutting tool, but you always want to remember, when you're cutting glass with a Dremel, you always want to use a lubricant such as a beeswax like this, or one of my favorites is I just like to keep a jar of water on top of my desk. It keeps the splinters down. It keeps the glass from fracturing. And it keeps the tool very cool. The Dremel is an excellent tool for working with glass.
