It is possible to use a credit card to pay off another credit card, but it is not advisable because it may hurt your credit score. Be responsible with credit cards by paying off debt immediately with advice from the owner of a debt settlement company in this free video on credit cards.
Hi. My name is Peter Repak. I'm the owner of Clear Financial LLC a debt negotiation company. Can I use a credit card to pay another credit card? Well, that's a big question. Yes, you can. Would you really want to? No because once you move balance from one card to the other, the credit bureau is going to take a look at that the credit card company that you're trying to shuffle the cards. That could actually pose some threat to your credit score. What you really want to do is you want to pay off those credit cards as fast as you can. Now why would you want to do that? Because if anything happens, any real emergency happens and you are falling behind on that credit card, the consequences are actually dire. What you really want to do is have a responsible attitude and pay off that credit card as fast as you can. One more thing about this that if you do happen to really go behind on your credit card payment and there's no any other way of doing this, then yes you can use your credit card to pay off another credit card but I really wouldn't advise it as a habitual thing that you would do. Again, my name is Peter Repak. I'm the owner of Clear Financial LLC. It's a debt negotiation company. Thank you for watching.
