"So welcome to the segment of the facial yoga called "U." And of course this whole section is devoted to exploring you, the face that you have. The letter "U", how does it show up in your lips? U, U, U, U. It depends on maybe the emotion that you have. If you have a dramatic emotion and you want to really point the finger at you. Or you? It's a question. Allow the expression to go all the way from the lips of youuuuu up into the face, up into the eyebrow into the eyes. So as we're exploring any of these letters or these vowels, what we're looking at is where is the beginning point, so as much as possible you start with a neutral face, a neutral, relaxed mouth, and as you're imagining that letter U you can hear any tone in your mind, and then begin to feel the very light movement. How does the lip, upper and lower, move differently from the other vowels, when you're doing Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. What happens if you exaggerate it. Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Think of actors like James Cagney, "You dirty rat! You dirty rat!" He used that in the film to really get a sense of energy going. So energy's in the face all the time. Exploring these vowels is going to help you understand that energy."
