In this clip, we will be talking about the woman’s waltz basic. The woman from a standing position always starts with her right foot. The woman’s part starts opposite of the man’s part, so with her right foot, she will step back, putting her toe back first, you will side step to your left, putting your right foot together to close and changing weight, stepping forward with your left foot making sure to take a heel lead, taking a side step with the right foot, bringing the feet together and changing weight. Once again that is back with the right foot, a side step, bringing your feet together and changing weight forward with the left foot, one side step, bringing your feet together and changing weight. It looks like walk, side step, walk, side step, walk, side step, and walk, side step. I will show you a side view on that is well. The woman is starting back with her right foot first, takes one step back, making sure to take a toe lead, bringing the step to the side and the feet come together while you change your weight. Stepping forward with the left foot, heel first, side to the right, bringing the left foot together and changing the weight, so it is walk, side step, walk, side step, walk, side step, walk and side step. I am also going to show you this from the back because the woman does step back first. Starting once again with the right foot, walk, side step, walk, side step, back with the right, side step, forward with the left side step, making sure to change your weight on every step, walk, side step and walk, side step. In one more angle we are going to show from the other side starting back with your right foot once again it is right foot, left to the side and right together change weight. Left foot, right to the side, left together and change weight, so walk, side step, walk, side step, walk, side step, walk and side step and that is your woman’s waltz basic.
