Motorola cell phone batteries are not always compatible. Specific designs and power capabilities of the battery will either enable them or disable them from being used in other Motorola machines. This is the case with Motorola BT50 and BC50 batteries. These batteries are different in size, battery compatibility and machine compatibility.

Battery Specifications

The Motorola BT50 is a 3.7 volt lithium-ion battery. It has the capacity of 850 mAh (milliampere/hour); this is the battery speed. The BT50 weighs 50 grams. Dimensions of the BT50 are in millimetres; 54.05 x 35.70 x 4.50. The Motorola BC50 is also a 3.7 volt lithium-ion battery. However, it has a 750 mAh capacity and weighs 45 grams. The dimensions of the BC50 are in millimetres, 45.20 x 37.30 x 4.70. This makes the BC50 a smaller and less powerful battery than the BT50.
