Archery Clubs in South Wales

Updated July 20, 2017

According to the Welsh Archery Association's website, there are more than 60 official archery clubs in South Wales. Archery is an excellent sport for people of all age groups as it is a non-contact sport that relies on skill rather than strength. Clubs in South Wales are mainly set up by enthusiasts from school halls or town recreation grounds. They are, however, extremely enthusiastic and actively promote this Olympic sport by offering beginner classes to anyone who wants to give it a try.

Celyn Archers

The Celyn Archers are a city club based in Cardiff, South Wales. They operate out of Cardiff High School and meet on Saturday mornings in the school hall from 10 a.m. to noon. From May through September, the club meets on the school's grounds for outdoor practice. The club offers beginners classes for both juniors and adults and regularly takes part in tournaments around Wales.
