According to the Welsh Archery Association's website, there are more than 60 official archery clubs in South Wales. Archery is an excellent sport for people of all age groups as it is a non-contact sport that relies on skill rather than strength. Clubs in South Wales are mainly set up by enthusiasts from school halls or town recreation grounds. They are, however, extremely enthusiastic and actively promote this Olympic sport by offering beginner classes to anyone who wants to give it a try.
