The water parks in Ireland offer slides, pools, activity centres and more for visitors of all ages. The adventurous visitor can dare the indoor river rapids or any one of the twisting, turning and fast-speeding water slides. Younger children can visit the interactive play areas and adult visitors are welcome to indulge in the jacuzzi, sauna or a ride around the lazy river. When you have had enough water for the day, some water parks have dry activity areas with arcades, casinos, play areas and bowling alleys.

Aqua Dome

The Aqua Dome is one of the largest indoor water parks in Ireland. It has a wave pool and flow rider that lets beginner and experienced surfers alike ride a stream of continuous waves. Guests of all ages can battle the river rapids or float along in the lazy river. Waterslides include the Sky High Flume and the Outdoor Falling Rapids. The children's area includes a kiddie pool and water activity centre with water cannons, sprayers and more. The adult-only Health Suite is equipped with two saunas, a steam room, sunbed and the Cool Plunge Pool. The Aqua Dome fitness centre offers modern equipment and is open from September to May each year. The centre also has a full 18-hole golf course on-site. For dryer fun, children can take advantage of the Aqua Dome Bungee Trampoline, the bouncing castle and much more throughout the summer months. The Zest cafe serves light fare throughout the day to keep visitors replenished and ready for fun.

Aqua Zone

Aqua Zone offers a water park fun for children, teenagers and adults. All visitors can enjoy the park's Flow Rider, wave pool and the nearly 400-foot lazy river that travels at two miles an hour. The Master Blaster reverses the typical water slide experience and blasts riders from the bottom of the slide up to the top before speeding them through a multitude of twists and turns on the way back down. The children's Pirate Ship is full of interactive water fun with water cannons and slides for children under the age of eight. Aqua Zone has a variety of birthday party packages.

It has a 110-gallon tipping bucket, interactive play area with cannons, water sprayers and more and a toddler splash pad with small slides. The water park features the Super Bowl water slide for single and double riders and the Boomerang that drops riders 60-feet before propelling them back to the top for a ride down bends, curves and more. The Funtasia entertainment centre also has a dry Atlantis Cove Play Area, 14-lane bowling alley, roller skating, rock climbing wall, video game arcade and billiard's table.
