Disney Princesses

Decorating with Disney princesses is a great way to make any child feel beautiful. From classic princesses such as Ariel and Belle to more modern heroines such as Mulan, there are a number of decorating ideas that use Disney princesses. A canopy hung from the ceiling is a great way to give a child her own princess bed. Decorate the walls with decals of princesses or photos from a Disney trip. Add pink princess accessories throughout the room.

Classic Disney

Mickey Mouse is a great decorating theme for bedrooms. Mickey can be used to decorate kids' bedrooms, using bright red paint to highlight Mickey's colours. Add figurines or pictures of Mickey to tie the theme together. For a more adult feel, pair Mickey figurines with a black and white decorating scheme that calls the old Disney movies to mind. Use black and white Mickey figurines or pictures from the original Mickey Mouse films.

Disney Heroes

Disney heroes are a fun and boisterous decorating tool for any bedroom. From Prince Charming to Hercules, Disney movies offer a large number of heroes who can easily be worked into a room's decorating scheme. A navy blue paint colour is ideal for providing a backdrop for posters and pictures of the heroes. For a younger child, a car bed could call the Disney movie "Cars" to mind and make bedtime more exciting.
