Adobe Flash (formerly Macromedia Flash) is a multimedia platform for making interactive web pages. Flash is used to make animation and advertisements, as well as to add streaming video or audio to a website. Flash files are in the SWF(Shockwave Flash) format. They can be played on a variety of devices such as personal computers and cell phones by downloading free software such as Adobe Flash Player.

Spotlight Effect

Spotlight effect creates moving spotlights by designing various shapes and filling them with specific colours and gradients. Layer over text or film to create a stage effect. This flash effect turns animation space into a stage.

Glow Effect in Flash

Glow effect in Flash can be used for two different media forms. Make a portion of a photograph light up. Brighten an area of animation momentarily. Using the glow effect, light the sky with a lightning flash or make Rudolph's nose glow red.

Laser Effect

Creating the laser effect in Flash is an intermediate skill. This effect produces a glowing point which shoots a laser. As the laser shoots, it draws the path of the laser light. Use this effect to animate a laser gun battle or vibrant shapes.
