Sheet metal can be decorated with colour print images printed on water transfer paper. This type of paper can be purchased at some hobby and craft supply stores, and from online retailers such as Lazertran and Decal Connection. Images can be printed and applied to clean sheet metal in under 15 minutes. It may take up to 24 hours to dry completely before varnish or clear coat can be applied to the image, however.
