How to Change the Volume on an Alcatel Tribe

Updated February 16, 2017

The Alcatel Tribe features several customisation features so you can change the appearance and sound of your phone. One important feature of the Tribe is the volume control. With volume control, you are able to set how loud or soft the phone's ringtone is. You can also change the in-call volume if the speaker seems too loud or too quiet. The Tribe has a dedicated volume control button that allows you to change the volume level at any time.

Press the "Options" button if you want to change the volume of the Alcatel Tribe's ringtone. Select the "Edit" option.

Select the desired ringtone from the list. Select "Mode." Select the way you want to ringtone to sound, such as Normal, Discreet or Vibrate. Choose the Outdoor profile if you want a louder ringtone, or select the Indoor profile for a softer one.

Press the "Volume Up" button on the right side of the Tribe to increase the volume during a call. Press "Volume Down" to decrease the volume. It is also possible to change the volume when listening to music or watching a video.
