When you type a message on Facebook, it's not always easy for people to fully understand your meaning, because they can't see your face and put your words in context, such as if you are frowning, happy, or saying it with a half-smile. You might want to provide a little extra information in your Facebook message by typing a half-smiley emoticon, or a symbol of a face made of characters. You can easily make a half-smiley.
