Mercedes vehicles have several driving lights for increased safety. These lights include the headlights, the taillights, the turn signal lights and parking lamps on both the front and rear of the vehicle. It is important to always keeps these lights in working order, not only for your safety, but in order to not receive a ticket from the authorities. Remove the desired bulb by rotating it counterclockwise and pulling it straight out. There are four bulbs on the tail lamp assembly: the brake lamp bulb, the backup lamp bulb, the turn signal lamp bulb, and the parking lamp bulb.
Install a replacement bulb by pushing it into the socket and rotating it clockwise. The brake lamps use a P 21 W bulb, the indicators use a PY 21 W bulb, the parking lamps use a P 21/5 W bulb, and the backup lamps use a P 21 W bulb.
