There are plenty of websites that offer opportunity to create your own calendar for free. You can often personalise a calendar by adding photos or designs, and sometimes you can even print out the calendar or add it directly to a website. Making your own free calendar is an affordable way to keep schedules and appointments in order, and you can be turned into memorable gifts for your friends and family.

    Select the culture or country with which the calendar will be associated by selecting it in the drop-down box.

    Choose the type and date for your calendar. You will need to decide between a monthly or yearly format, or set up in daily indexes. Click on the chosen calendar format to open a new window.

    Customise the calendar by choosing the day of the week the calendar will display as the first day, as well as the month it will be starting on. You can check the "Show Holidays" box if you want them to be included on your calendar.

    Upload an image to your calendar by pressing the "Choose File" button in the add image section. Choose an image from your computer or from a designated URL to upload for use on the calendar.

    Press "View Printable Calendar" in the middle of the page to open a window with a preview of your calendar. View the calendar and make any desired changes before printing.

    Print calendar on printer paper using a coloured printer. Use a stapler to secure the separate sheets together, either in a centre fold or at the top of the pages.
