Anoto paper is not really paper at all. Rather it refers to Anoto pen Documents Pro, a digital pen software that captures your handwritten text and turns it into documents on your computer. These documents appear as typed versions of your handwritten notes, which you can print via any Windows program. You can print them via a virtual printer that pen Documents Pro creates in any Windows program labelled "Anoto Print." All versions of pen Documents Pro use the same method to print.

Instructions

  1. 1

Install the Anoto pen Documents Pro software via the installation CD that came with your digital pen, or download it (see Resources).

  2. 2

Write with your Anoto digital pen on any type of paper.

  3. 3

Connect your Anoto digital pen to your computer, using the USB cable. Your handwritten text from the pen will automatically be transferred over to your computer and converted to a PDF file.

  4. 4

Open one of your Anoto PDF files. Once you connect your USB, a pop-up window will display all of your Anoto PDF files. Double-click on the document you want to open.

  5. 5

Print your Anoto PDF file. From the program that opened your PDF file, click on "File," then on "Print." On the "Print" dialogue screen, select "Name" and change the printer name to "Anoto Print." Click "OK." On the second "Print" dialogue screen, select your physical printer, then click "Print." This will print your Anoto document on paper in your local printer.
