If you love your favourite perfume so much that you want to turn it into an air freshener, you're in luck. There are a couple different methods that you can use to create the air freshener on your own. With just a few craft supplies, you'll find that making room spray and other scented items is both quick and inexpensive.

Look around the house for things that hold onto scents well, such as fabric softening dryer sheets or stuffed animals.

Lightly spray these items with your favourite perfume and allow the scent to settle in. For dryer sheets, you can use unscented sheets that have just been used in the wash.

Place these items at different places around your room, home, or car. For example, you might place stuffed animals near a window or put dryer sheets underneath the seats in your car. The items will serve as air fresheners that you can replace as often as you'd like.

Empty out an old spray bottle or purchase an empty one. The spray should be a very fine mist.

Dilute your perfume in the bottle using 3 to 4 drops of perfume per 1/2 cup of water. You can also add 3 drops of an unscented essential oil, such as jojoba oil to this mixture.

Spray the air with this mixture whenever you want to get rid of unwanted odours. Refill it as often as necessary.
