The Danskin Now workout collection includes fitness wear such as hoodies, yoga trousers, sports bras and athletic shoes. The collection, offered by Walmart, also offers fitness equipment, accessories and the accompanying workout videos. The Danskin Now Yoga Fitness Kit, Portable Pilates Studio and Balance Disc all come with different instructional DVDs. If you have the Portable Pilates Studio, you need to assemble the bar before using the workout video. If you have the Yoga Fitness Kit, you need to inflate the balance ball before starting your workout.

    Lay out the yoga mat in a clear, flat area. Place the resistance band, yoga strap and exercise ball near the yoga mat so that you can reach them easily.

    Practice the basic poses according to the included exercise chart, then put the instructional DVD into your DVD player and press "Play." There are no sections or warm-up exercises, so simply let it play through.

    Follow along with the instructor as she demonstrates yoga poses. Use the exercise ball, cotton strap or resistance band when prompted.

    Purchase a yoga mat if you do not already own one. The Portable Pilates Studio does not include one. Lay the mat out on the floor, with the bar alongside it.

    Lie down on your back on the mat and grip the bar on either side, wrapping your hands around the purple cushioning. Place your feet in the straps, with your legs straight.

    Lift one leg up while keeping the other leg on the floor. If there is slack in the attached resistance tubes, wrap the tubing around the bar once on both sides to adjust the straps to your height.

    Insert the workout video into your DVD player. Scroll to highlight one of the three chapters with the navigation buttons on your remote control and press "Enter" or "Play."

    Follow along with the instructor as she explains how to use the Pilates bar. Workout 1 covers basic moves with the bar, while workouts 3 and 4 include increasingly complex exercises.

Tips and warnings

  • Consult your physician before starting a workout program if you have a pre-existing medical condition.
  • Always wear appropriate clothing when exercising.
