The sparkle of Swarovski crystal beads will add glimmer and glow to the Christmas tree. The Swarovski beads are tailor-made for snowflake ornaments, since the crystal beads mimic the crystallisation of the snowflakes. These ornaments will also add a personal handmade touch to a gift, when added to a bow. When strung from a window with fishing wire, the ornaments will convey a holiday greeting to neighbours and visitors. All supplies can be found at bead stores.

  1. 1

Slide the beads on one arm of the snowflake form, leaving 1.25 cm (1/2 inch) of the wire empty at the outside tip.

  2. 2

Grasp the tip with the tip of the needle nose pliers and bend it into a small circle to secure the placement of the beads on the arm.

  3. 3

Repeat for each arm of the snowflake form, placing the beads in a symmetrical arrangement throughout the entire snowflake.

  4. 4

Cut the ribbon or fishing wire to a length of 15 cm (6 inches) with the scissors.

  5. 5

Tie the ends of the ribbon or fishing wire in a knot to create a hanging loop for the completed ornament.
