The default Windows un-installation program, known as "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows XP or "Programs and Features" in Windows Vista and Windows 7, is slow and inefficient when it comes to deleting old programs that you no longer use. Instead you can use one of several programs to uninstall programs on your computer. Not only will these programs work faster and clean up hidden unwanted files that the Windows uninstaller leaves behind, but they also allow you to uninstall more than one program at once.
