Keep every cup of espresso or coffee tasting just as good as the first by properly maintaining your Krups espresso machine. You need to perform regular cleaning every time you use the appliance to remove old coffee grounds or oils that can affect the flavour of your brew. In addition to regular cleaning, you also need to remove any mineral build-up from the inside of the machine. This build-up, called calcification, can affect the performance of your Krups espresso machine, and you should perform a deep cleaning any time the machine becomes louder or begins to take longer to brew your coffee and espresso.
