Monitoring the activity of a modem is something that all computer users should know how to do. You can also know exactly how fast your modem is operating, letting you know if you're getting the speed you were promised by your Internet service provider.     Right click on the icon for your modem. Select the "Status" option. The window that opens will have constantly updating information relating to the current activity of your computer's modem.
